Medical Improv is the adaptation of improvisational theater principles and training techniques to improve communication, cognition, and teamwork in the field of medicine.
Who we are
Katie Watson, JD and Belinda Fu, MD are professional medical educators at Northwestern University and the University of Washington who also have extensive experience in improvisational theater performance and instruction. Professor Watson and Dr. Fu are collaborating to help establish the emerging field of medical improv.
Mission
Our goal is to establish and maintain the highest standard of quality for the curricular content, teaching, research, and implementation of medical improv.
THE FIRST *ADVANCED* INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL IMPROV TRAIN-THE-TRAINER WORKSHOP
This workshop is only open to people who completed the original Northwestern Train-the-Trainer course (2013-2024). Schedule and registration details to come.
